Ponyo
“*Ponyo” is the first animated film I've watched from studios ghibli, and it didn't disappoint at all.
Despite being a rather lame story of a children's romance of a kind of mermaid and a boy (Sosuke), who defy everything that tries to separate them between land and sea to be together, it's pretty good. proceeding….*
The animation is really well done, and the characters have as much personality as possible (especially Lisa) but they also lack any depth, so in my view, “Ponyo” is all an image (what matters to them is animation) and the story seems to have been little worked on, in addition to being generic.
