that ending still hits

a bit of a let down. first of all, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey are phenomenal! especially Ariana who has shown how much she loves the rol of Glinda. and Cynthia singing No Good Deed was definitely the highlight of this movie. I do think that the first installment has the better songs overall and a better character development. it feels like you have to watch and know Wicked Part One and the Wizard of Oz to understand this and less like an own story. i dont think thats a huge issue for me, because i know both films very well, but for newer watchers it may be confusing. also, the pacing is a bit weird, its like a lot of scenes were cut from the movie. i wouldve loved to get scenes with the fabulous four, especially the dynamics between the Cowardly Lion, Fiyero and Boq, who know eachother from the first film. but no, that just wasnt there. they turned the second act into a 2-hour movie and still we didnt get any scenes with them. and like i said, if you dont know the Wizard of Oz, than you’ll probably not understand the Dorothy side-plot. it feels like you have to watch Wicked For Good and the Wizard of Oz side by side, because Wicked cut every scene of the Wizard of Oz in their film. im not hating on this movie, i just expected it to be something else and im a bit disappointed. but i still love this franchise and i wish that i could get more. like in the musical, the second act of Wicked is weaker than the first act and more of an ending than a self contained story

wicked for good is gonna kill me

the riddler is an absolute psychopath
