But you didn’t want it, Ennis, so what we got now is **Brokeback Mountain. **Everything built on that. It's all we got, boy, fuckin' all, so I hope you know that if you don't never know the rest. You count the damn few times we been together in nearly twenty years, and you measure the short fuckin' leash you keep me on, then ask me about Mexico and you tell me you'll kill me for needin' somethin' I don't hardly never get. You have no idea how bad it gets. I'm not you. I can't make it on a couple of high-altitude fucks once or twice a year. You're too much for me, Ennis, you son of a whoreson bitch. **I wish I knew how to quit you**“*

One of the best films of this year, it beautifully depicts the turmoils of relationships between two fading lovers whilst being hilarious, but also not sacrificing the jokes and the humor of some scenes for the seriousness of others. I think also every actor in this movie should be nominated for an Oscar, because the acting was phenomenal, and I think especially Penelope Cruz, Olivia Wilde and Seth Rogan delivered a fantastically raw and compelling performance - not forgetting Edward Norton, who, despite a strong performance I would say is the weakest of the four though I wouldn’t be surprised to see him nominated - have a high chance of winning. Aside from the academy awards it is just a spectacular film and I am compelled to explore more of Olivia’s work as her cinematography and directing was also fantastic

Below average horror slop. Felt more like an escape the hotel movie than a horror movie with witchcraft, witches and actual horror partly because they felt like, and was revealed at the end, a side piece in their own movie. The jumpscares were nothing shocking and this movie was hyped up so much I’m so disappointed. Add that with an unlikeable as fuck protagonist, who we don’t care for one bit, and a half assed depiction of grief, you have a 4/10 movie at best. Not to mention it had so much opportunity to utilize the Irish folklore which the antagonist (the witch) is based on, but instead is it simply discarded after the first 30 minutes of the film
