Superman

WOW! Superman (2025) might be one of my favourite movies of all time. To start off the cinematography was amazing the visuals were so vibrant and it actually looked colourful and visually pleasing. One scene in particular was the scene where Superman and Lois are chatting while the Justice Gang defeat the alien in the window behind them this scene is so good because Superman and Lois are in a darker room but the fight in the background gives the scene such good vibrancy especially when the monster is defeated and the colourful blood spews everywhere it just looks amazing. The Casting couldn't be any closer to perfect David Corenswet as Superman was great because he portrays a funnier and nice Superman rather than Henry Cavills dark and non-saving Superman for example David Corenswet's Superman saved a squirrel from getting crushed by a monster and Henry Cavill's Superman let a courtroom of people die to a bomb that he knew about. Nicholas Holt as Lex Luthor Was Perfect the way he has this massive rivalry with Superman even though they had never met until Luthor takes his dog and when they do meet Luthor is so chilled out he even sips his tea when Superman is all up in his face also the scene where Superman is weak and Lex sceams at his works "1A!" multiple times so that Ultraman will punch Superman was so good. The Justice Gang had such a good relationship to watch like when Guy Gardner calls them "The Justice Gang" and Mr Terrific and Hawkgirl both say "That's not our name" or "That's not finalized yet". On their own Guy Gardner is one of the funniest parts of this movie especially when he shows up at the war between Bovaria and Jahranpur and says "Sorry Kid, Superman couldn't make it, so you got an upgrade" and he proceeds to use his powers to make hands go through the ground some being punches but some of them were middle fingers which was a great detail to add. Near the end when Hawkgirl offers for Metamorpho to join the Justice Gang, Guy Gardner initially declines but when Metamorpho says the Justice Gang is a cool name he was instantly accepted in. One of the best fight scenes in the whole movie was Mr Terrific's fight at the military base where he puts Lois Lane in a forcefield and goes out and fights all of the people at the base with his spheres to the song "5 years time" and it is just the perfect song to go with this fight and seeing it from the POV from Lois makes it even better. Hawkgirl doesn't get much screen time but her best bit was when she picked up the President of Boravia and when he says that she won't kill him because she is like Superman she says "I'm nothing like Superman" and she then drops him hurdling towards his death. The Daily Planet People, I think that they could make a whole TV about these guys and I would love it, they all have such good chemistry and they all have such good funny moments especially Jimmy because he gets lots of girls but it seems like he doesn't even want them. Overall this movie is amazing, there were moments where I was smiling, laughing and on the edge of my seat but also bits where I was tearing up and it really let's you care about the characters who are in the movie so 5 stars MASSIVE well done James Gunn Thank you!   #SuperShit 9.8/10 Favourite Character - Superman Least Favourite Character - The Engineer Best Scene - Justice Gang and Superman vs Giant Kaiju Villain - Lex Luthor, Ultraman and The Engineer 9/10
