Inherent Vice

Getting ready for One Battle After Another with Anderson's other Pynchon adaptation. Joaquín is so great in this as a dude-esque 70's stoner detective. I love the journey of investigation and discovery, and he's a pretty good detective for how high he is. I love the risque nature of the underworld, as well as the secret cults and mystery that just keeps on unraveling. Pheonix and Brolin have a magnetic relationship, not in the sense they are connected, but the other magnets that they are completely repulsed by each other. There is one action scene, and it is an all timer. Can't wait for the action in One Battle!
