Great way to kick off the summer. The ultimate summer movie for every year since its release 50 years ago. There has never been a shark movie to match this one. It’s completely thrilling and really makes me want to take up fishing again. Spielberg uses every trick in the book to make this nonfunctional shark machine into one of the greatest and most mysterious villains in movie history. The three dudes: Scheider, Dreyfus, and Shaw are so damn good and have immaculate chemistry in teaming up to get that damn shark. The mayor is another good antagonist and the townspeople are a fun collective voice. First time watch in theater, and the new 4K print so you can see everything real nice.
