Parasite

One of the rare times when Best Picture was also the greatest movie of the year. My first time seeing it on IMAX made it as grand as it could be. This is a finely stitched movie that feels pretty radical in what it says about social class and how society is structured. This watch, I was very much able to track the dad’s decent into impulsively murder his boss. The music is classical yet feels so devious because it always follows conflict or their plots to gain control of the house. It transcends the time and place it was made and feels like it could have came from anywhere at anytime, so I think it will continue on as a prescient movie that will not age at all. Definitely plan to see this once every few years.
