**“They are rich but still nice. They are nice because they are rich.” ** Even better than the first time I watched it. I think the scene with the flood is so important because while Mrs.Park is happy about the flood because the rain “washed away” the pollution the Kim family’s house was ruin.  This scene is important to me because the Park family is so privileged that it protects them from the consequences letting them only see the good side of the effects.

Sometimes you have to pause a movie out of sheer awkwardness and that’s okay
