It’s amazing, it pulls on Two of your heart strings at first then an then three then a four, then five. I didn’t think this movie would make me cry but Because it’s just a folklore tale, and not even a thought out folklore because it’s told by a man that’s addicted to methamphetamines and a drunk trying to commit suicide who can barely keep his story straight for the life of him, and viewed in the perspective of a little girl who’s none the wiser, but man is it a tear jerker after the first hour. “ now it’s time for bed. Little girls need their sleep, too…. I am not little. I am five.” FUUUUUUUUUUUCK ☹️☹️☹️ Absolutely amazing cinematography, such crisp and amazing shots that really do Capture the essence of imagining things back when you were so small. It’s a rocky desert, then there’s a green pasture in the desert, then it’s nothing but green pastures. imagining things incorrectly the first time, then correcting them to fit the narrative your being told about in real time. It’s absolutely beautiful especially for being filmed in the 2005 and being released in 2006.
