Andrei Rublev
Reminded me of Pasolini's trilogy work in it's lack of structure and clarity when it comes to storytelling. Same as Pasolini, despite the fact that his main focus is more so on conveying emotion and a message and not the storyline he manages to capture my full attention and admiration better than the most plotline focused blockbusters of our current times. Just like any of his movies, "Andrei Rublev" holds an atmosphere of importnace and grandiosity, of having a lot to say, you are aware that you are watching a masterpiece the first second it starts and it only gets reconfirmed each passing second of the film. Needless to mention the cinematography and the use of sound, cmon it's Tarkovsky what did I expect?
