Unbreakable

Whenever I say "I'm rooting for Shyamalan" after going to see another disappointing modern M Night movie, this is the movie I think about. I know he can direct because of shit like this. There's literally entire sequences here that feel like he's directing a comic book panel rather than a movie scene due to the framing techniques, and it's the coolest thing to be done and it's WAYYY before the comic book movie craze took place. Next time someone tells you Shyamalan is bad, put this on and tell them to shut up for the next hour and 45 minutes.
