Halloween

I recently watched this movie for the first time and it has quickly rose up to my top ten movies of all time. The character of Laurie Strode set the bar for the final character in a horror film. Laurie is a character that you actually want to survive and you actually like unlike other horror movies that make you hate your main character(s). John Carpenter is an Iconic director and this is by far his best work. Halloween set the bar incredibly high for future slasher films. Dr. Loomis is a fantastic character that really understands the character of Michael Myers even though us the audience do not and he helps us learn about who he is. Loomis and Laurie are acted perfectly by Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis. Halloween has a fantastic score that is just iconic for the season of Halloween. I would recommend this movie for all film and horror fans if you have not yet seen it. Overall, Halloween is a film worth seeing and watching every Halloween.
