Bugonia
I really liked Bugonia. It’s definitely on the slower side, but in a good, intentional way—it gives you time to sit with what’s happening and piece things together. The twists totally caught me off guard (in the best way), and Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons are both phenomenal.
The violence and horror elements were way more intense than I expected, but they worked. They felt earned and added a surprising edge to the story instead of just shock value.
The ending completely stuck the landing for me—original, satisfying, and a perfect payoff for the slow build. Overall, it’s a weird, thought-provoking ride that lingers with you after the credits roll.
