Heathers

Dare I say Winona’s coolest role ever. I loved the dark humor in this movie. This movie is so iconic with the characters and the story. I like normal highschool movies but this one offers a more cynical and dark perspective which I absolutely loved, I loved the dialogues and JD was really handsome I just wish he wasn’t evil😞. I also really adored the the colors of the heathers red green and yellow and Veronica’s blue, also with the shoulder pads and 19s fashion it was realistic. I didn’t mind that this movie talked about intense subjects (teen suicide, eating disorders, fatshaming, school violence) it was mostly about adolescent struggles. But the message I got was to choose kindness over popularity which imo is a really good message.
