The Handmaiden

Movie was split into 3 parts, with a character getting tricked in each part. But the biggest con in the entire movie was the one that Park Chan-wook pulls with the viewers. The original plot-line was already strong enough, but the one that was being orchestrated behind the scenes and revealed later on took this movie up a notch. Seeing the multiple perspectives of the same scenes playing out made for some smart storytelling; making us experience the exact same moments but with completely different context. I go into about 99% of movies blind so the last thing I excepted was a sexfest; nonetheless the horny ass writing in this movie allowed for some powerful and vengeful scenes down the line, such as that poisoning scene. It also goes without saying that the Uncle was a sicko, and it only got worse the more he opened his mouth. The final act really emphasised how perverted he was, but also showcased the start of a very satisfying conclusion.
