And so the combination of almost 20 movies and a decade all led up to this. Man, it really hasn’t aged well. Cheesy dialogue aside you’re telling me this movie had a $350 million budget and this was the best effects money could buy? It was visibly distracting without the buildup of all the past movies giving this one it’s hype you can really see it’s mediocrity. I will say that Josh Brolin killed it as Thanos and the score was on point. There are a lot of things I like about this movie. It basically said the stage for a whole sub genre of superhero movies and for better or worse it is a staple of the industry. But you have things like how war machine is supposed to be a scrull and honestly I don’t think marvel deserves forgiveness for what they did to Thor. Anyways, we have doomsday to look forward to at the end of this year. The newly added and credit scene did a decent job of building up the hype, but now after letting it settle, there is a looming thought that that movie will be horrible as is any attempt to reclaim the glory days of the endgame buildup.

Where would we be as a society if not for poorly written, over the top, corny marvel movies. Probably a lot better off. But I still enjoyed this.

Gore and CGI were on point. Main protagonist borders on being competent. The residence of the city are evil
