The Handmaiden
Literal art. It was like watching a novel unfold on screen. When I finished I was literally sat there for 10 minutes just thinking about it, and I still have it on my mind right now, probably will for a while.I’m so happy I went into this film knowing nothing because the story that unfolds is nothing short of masterful. The cinematography is literal perfection, the acting is some of the best I’ve seen so far this year. And the score! Oh my Lordy the score!I adore this film, pretty much perfection and don’t have a flaw with it. It’s a film that is made to be rewatched too and I plan on doing that, despite the lengthy run time I never felt it’s length drag.
