The Prestige
A great example of Nolan’s talent, my opinion of a near perfect buildup for the “prestige” of the movie. Angier not knowing if he would be the man in the box or the man in the prestige when performing the trick and still doing it, as well as Borden’s twist becoming increasingly and increasingly more clear are perfecto. An amazing representation of two stories of obsession intertwining, leading to war, and ruining their lives. Definitely needs multiple viewings as do all Nolan movies (which is how top tier movies should be).
