Shark Tale

Before I watched this, and I knew I would, I was like “God Robert De Niro has led me to places I wouldn’t go with a gun.” But like. This was the best thing ever. I cannot believe that my Mother never showed me this film growing up (she was shoving dreamworks movies down my throat like nothing) but for some reason she didn’t. I distinctly remember that my Dad has the dvd, and would always ask if I wanted to watch it, and I never did cause I thought the fish looked ugly. This was amazing. And a GREAT metaphor for queerness and acceptance that I genuinely didn’t expect. Had some other remarkable parts I will list here  - martin scorsese pufferfishes eyebrows- mole on robert de niro shark?? great stuff.- “a lot of white fish can’t do it”- gay cross dressing mob son shark- will smith just in general - obviously the whole shrimp monologue  anyways. had a great time and will repeat! sad I didn’t watch this as a kid but I got to it now and that’s what matters!
