The Florida Project

this film could be completely different. it could be so atmospherically bleak and grungy if it wanted to be, but what makes it powerful is that it isn’t. as an adult watching this you understand the circumstances and implications throughout, but these issues are portrayed through the blissful ignorance of a 6 year old. this could have been shot using muted colors and specifically in cloudy weather, but it isn’t. the high saturation makes you almost feel the florida heat-you see a world made of candy and fantastic adventures. im too tired to go into this but wow this is a gorgeous movie
