That quote alone makes this movie over a 8.
Then throw in some of the best hand to hand combat fighting I have ever witnessed in a movie (better than most 21st century movies) and you got an 8.5+. Then throw in revenge and a Hans Zimmer soundtrack and it goes way past that.
Maximus is stripped of everything he had ever worked for. His army, his money, his family, and his respect he had earned.
This movie is the definition of getting revenge that is so desperately deserved. From everything to nothing, then restoring everything back (minus his family).
He got his vengeance and I gave it a 9.3
