Interstellar

One word… masterpiece. In typical Christopher Nolan fashion, he takes a good story and makes it nearly cinematically perfect. I do not believe that there is or ever will be a perfect 10/10 movie, but this is as close as it gets. Some people hate on this movie for the complexity of it. To them I say, “watch it again”. The intricacy of the storytelling is incredible. The quality of the cinematography is the best I’ve ever seen. And yes, I’ve seen Avatar. The shot of the black hole and planets alone rivals the entirety of Avatar (which is what I considered the most beautiful movie I have ever seen). Matthew McConaughey plays his best role. Matt Damon plays a rare, “non-leading” role and knocks it out of the park. There are twists you dont see coming, comedy, drama, and thriller elements along the way. Lastly, HANS ZIMMER’s score puts this movie from 9.5 territory straight to a 9.9, making it the greatest movie I have ever seen. It might need 2-3 watches for you to fully grasp it, but it would be the greatest 2-3 movie watches of your life!
