Jack Stauber is nothing short of an artist, and not just in the visuals of his animation, but in the structure and detail of his concepts. Capturing the dissociative and subjective experience of abuse from the perspective of the naive and traumatised child is a nightmarish task not only accomplished so emotively, but with layered surrealist imagery and sound design.
