Scarecrow
Scarecrow is my second Asylum flick, and it definitely was the best so far, considering the other one was Sharknado.
Well, this turned out quite alright. The performances are hilarious, and the fact that guys in their mid-30s have to portray corny college kids is hard not to find funny. The story isn't terrible, but it's not good either. It's pretty much a slasher revenge flick in its core, but it doesn't take itself serious, with the scarecrow performing ninja rolls and other acrobatic moves all the time. The kills were surprisingly nasty at times and mostly well done. The soundtrack consists of a couple nice songs, but they're sometimes not fitting at all.
Overall, this is not something I'd recommend, but 2 stars for an Asylum flick isn't bad, I guess. It's without a doubt entertaining and at least I could fall asleep right after.
