Squid Game

Now that Squid Game is finished, I can finally put my review here. Season 1: I think the first season was a great and iconic start and everyone has heard of it. In my opinion overrated but definitely solid. It had some good games and the finale was amazing. Loved the characters and the idea too. Never liked it as much as some others but I always enjoyed this season alot. (7.6/10) Season 2: Definitely the worst season of the show. It lacks of depth and emotions and is more about the games. Thanos was a weird character and I wasn't a fan. It was very entertaining and the last episode was actually pretty good. Descent season, but not a masterpiece. (6.8/10) Season 3: The most rescent and final season is incredible. It surpassed my expectations in the fullest and I got to love this show for the first time. The characters we're a bit annoying and unrelatable at times, but it all served the plot and was overall still alright. The games we're creative and very entertaining. 3 episodes we're good, 1 was great and 2 we're amazing. The finale was so captivating and full of emotions. Also love the build up to another spin off show. (7.9/10) Overall, Squid Game is definitely still overrated to me and not alot more than a very good show with it's high's and lows. I can see why many people tend to adore this show, but for me it hasn't had the same effect until the last few episodes. Of course, it is entertaing and rememberable, but there still was too many flaws, espacially in the second season. It is a show that is worth watching, but it is not actually as good as it is successfull. 7.5/10
