An intense, queer, coming-of-age story from the unique perspective of impoverished youth dealing with the effects of addiction. All of this is free of the dramatic, fetishized privilege that most LGBTQ+ films tend to portray. Jenkin’s presents one of the most unique outlooks I’ve ever seen.
