The Wiz
This platform is full of closeted racists. For y’all to see a love letter to black culture and a celebration of emancipation, yet reduce it to petty nitpicks (many of which, white films seem to be exempt from) and “nonsense” is crazy.
Maximalist and surreal, but not afraid to meander. Life is full of oddities; things you’ve never experienced, but don’t forget to enjoy your time while pursuing your goals. There are lessons inside every crevice and around every corner. So simple but well done nonetheless. Great Thanksgiving movie.
