They Will Kill You kicks off with great exposition into an immediate awesome titlecard that is relevant to the plot and stylish at the same time. The camerawork in this film is so unique and well executed. There are so many camera movements and perspectives I have never even seen before in this film and they are utilized to make this already stylish and fun movie so much more entertaining. There are plenty of great cinematography moments as well, which all perfectly suit the scene they are showing backed by a killer soundtrack matching the action very nicely. Every action scene is choreographed very well and shot even better. The physical acting and timing of lines from Zazie Beetz couldn't be better, and she is backed by an ever-present cast of convicing antagonists spraying blood everywhere in an over-the-top demonstration of mindless entertaining action gore. Overall such a fun film, exactly what I could ask for in a movie like this. Overall a strong 4/5

113 minutes of nonstop perfect action choreography and camerawork. The physical acting was unbelievably good as the actors executed the fight choreography so fluidly and perfectly, alongside the convincing plot and brutal scenes. There were so many creative kills and attacks shown using the environment and just the actor's bodies themselves that left me in awe. So many creative choices in terms of camerawork and cinematography; a lot of shots lingered the perfect amount and didn't end where many other action films would cut into a different perspective. The way the shots are set up and travel vertically or horizontally to show you a different perspective while avoiding a cut is something to behold. The score has the perfect amount of subtlety to work in tandem with the exciting action. Yayan Ruhian, Joe Taslim, Xie Miao, Brian Le, and Joey Iwanaga are all such incredible physical action actors in this film. They transcend normal action acting by moving so fluidly and quickly that it looks like they aren't even human anymore. My second favorite action film of all time, such a fun and brutal adventure. Overall a normal 5/5 and my seventh favorite movie of all time.

Another self-directed Ben Stiller classic, Zoolander is a film with many funny lines and scenes tied together with an absurd but entertaining plot. Everything in the plot is played out with perfect pacing and a constant over-the-top commitment to the deadpan humor Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson deliver so well. Just a fun and entertaining movie overall. Overall a strong 3.5/5

An amazing twist to end an extremely intriguing and engaging plot backed up by an amazing script. Leonardo DiCaprio is incredible as always alongside great supporting performances from Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley, all playing well-developed characters. The score is as deep and impactful as the rain it coincides with, matching the dark tone of the film perfectly and elevating the already extremely suspenseful experience. There was a clear direction in this film that Martin Scorsese knew how to execute very well, with the perfect kind of storytelling for a film like this. Overall a light 4/5
