Before Sunset
Honestly, I was completely unaware that this was a trilogy. However, I must say, this film is still incredible. It's one of those movies where I found myself enjoying the sequel more than the original, though 'Before Sunrise' is still a standout for me. Similar to the first film, 'Linklater' ensures you're immersed in their discussions as they wander around Vienna, which is what I adore about 'Sunrise' and 'Sunset'.
I also appreciate how the movie captures those moments in every relationship when things start to fall apart. The way the intense argument between 'Hawke' and 'Delpy' unfolds, both heartbreaking and beautiful, I thought was particularly moving.
I also love the scene where Celine performs 'A Waltz for a Night' which I thought was perfectly timed with Nina Simone's 'Just in Time', making it a wonderful conclusion to the film. All in all, I really enjoyed this film. It's such a remarkable film, the way they engage in deep conversations while exploring Paris streets, it leaves me eager to watch ‘Before Midnight’ !
