This film doesn’t focus only on winning or big moments. Instead, it focuses on what’s happening inside the athlete’s mind.
Those two hours feel like an emotional shock. The film shows how obsession with perfection can slowly take over someone’s life. It explores how chasing perfection can become addictive, and how that pressure can break a person from the inside.
I honestly feel like this movie is like bodybuilding Prozac — you don’t want it, but you need it. It’s uncomfortable, intense, and sometimes hard to sit through, but it gives you clarity. It forces you to face parts of yourself you might ignore.
That’s why I believe everyone needs to watch this film at least once.
