Evil Dead Burn

YOU ARE NOTHING!! 👻💀🩸🧟‍♂️ I’ll stand on business when I say there’s not a single bad Evil Dead movie, and I am continually surprised at how consistent of franchise this has become. Had a great time with this one, it made me squirm and cringe and gag and also laugh. Would I have liked it more if there was a bit more levity and camp compared to the oldies? Sure. Is the story phenomenal? Eh, overall it’s just ok. But god damn did I have a lot of fun. Absolutely brutal 😈 Extra: loved seeing my boys JVB get a synch licensing moment at the beginning. Was not expecting it and was awesome to hear. Also, wtf was up with that post credit scene?! Very strange and weird for them to go that direction but ok, ig we’ll see if that means anything for the future movies.
