Lost Highway

Seen on the silver screen @ Kino Kilta Went in blind, second to last David Lynch feature length movie in his catalogue crossed off the list, unsurprisingly kicks ass again. I'm gonna miss Lynch so bad. What a hypnotic, mystifying, horrific and entrancing piece of art. So suspenseful, so beautifully shot and lit, one of the most unsettling performances I've ever seen from Robert Blake, surrounded by such an amazingly written and performed cast of characters, blew me away. Badalamentis soundtracks always deliver, but this one kicks it up a notch, probably second to only Twin Peaks!! Pushing the boundaries of filmmaking and narrative, they don't make them like this anymore Enhanced by me also been getting super into the Silent Hill franchise lately which made this such a fun watch, so many similarities, no way this wasn't a massive inspiration!! i think im gona have a nightmare tonight
