Barbie
I can’t explain how much i needed this movie genuinely, being a human is hard enough but being a woman is so much. Everything this movie touches on really opened my eyes to just how much I and other women are experiencing the exact same emotions, you grow up expecting to be perfect because all the women you grew up around seemed so perfect but when you grow up you realize just how hard life is and how difficult it is to even live. So many emotions us little girls grow up to experience without never understanding or knowing what it was, nobody ever told us how much it would hurt to live. We take risks everyday hoping for the greatest outcome only to sometimes get hit with the complete opposite, all of us never even realize just how much we don’t know until we experience it, we’re all living for the first time even though it feels we’ve lived through it all there’s always something you haven’t experienced, good or bad there’s always something out there to learn. We are all just human, just girls, just boys, just people, we all experience things differently even if it’s the same scenario. Everything including you is uniquely you. Don’t let anyone take away your Barbie. Because deep down underneath all that hurt you’re just a little girl who misses playing with their dolls. The real world is hard and scary and difficult but this movie really expresses how you need to embrace the unknown and understand that we all go through the same thing, and that it may not happen at the same time but it will happen. YOU ARE NOT BEHIND YOURE JUST GOING AT YOUR OWN SPEED. This movie behind the unserious funny aspects is genuinely such a beautiful movie made by women for women. Im genuinely so touched by this movie and I really needed it. If I wasn’t with my mom and brother watching this I would’ve cried my absolute heart out. Well done.
Love you me, and everyone woman , man , gay , straight, trans , etc who reads this. You’re seen and you’re heard.
Bye Barbie! 🖤
