Hereditary

I do admit that my favorite horror film Sinister is mainly there because its the first horror film do genuinely fucking scare me but it does have very much cheap jump scared. What I love about hereditary so much is that its a horror film about the family and not the monster that “haunts” them. Ari aster is a master at making almost every scene tension filled and hiding things in the darkness without any jumpscares. Its also what I love about Robert Eggers. Ive seen hereditary a couple of times already but it never fails to let me down. My only critique about it is the dialogue for Annie near the end. Its a little rough but it doesn’t ruin the experience. Love hereditary!
