This movie surely is sinister. I love when films do this where they make you think after watching it. I wanted to end this 31 days 31 horror movies with a bang. Why not do that with what science calls the scariest horror film ever? That film is sinister and Im so glad I watched it. I don’t get scared of horror movies but this one is genuinely so fucking scary and might be one of the scariest horror films ive seen. This movie is creepy, dark and even funny at times with Deputy So and So. There’s something about this film that made me care deeply about these characters and that ending… one of the best horror film endings. This film feels like one of those scary yt videos I would watch as a kid that gave me nightmares. I mean that as a compliment. It has that classic 2010 look with films like the Conjuring and Insidious but it also pulls it off. Ethan Hawke is great and made me care so deeply about his character. This film is amazing. Watch it. And that concludes 31 days and 31 horror movies. Thank you.
