Beautiful Boy

holy lordddd. what a masterpiece!!!!  this film was so good, it was beautifully illustrated and acted.  my analysis on the characters:  nic:  - I feel bad for him cos obviously he’s addicted and hes (somewhat) isolated as no one truly understands what he’s going through  - I feel sorry for the fact he felt like he needed to purposely od Karen:  - aw my sweet angel Karen - I love her and her character  - THE SCENE WHERE SHE FOLLOWS HIM IN THE CAR. this, omg!! Shows perfectly how she loves him and wants to support him but can’t cos he is addicted SO MUCH  - I love how understanding she is and how much she supports David and nic (whilst also looking after her children)  - underrated character fr  David:  - Steve carell. The actor you are.  - bless this dad, he has gone through ups and downs and finally accepted that he can’t help him son, that his son isn’t his son (if that makes sense)  - ‘once I took ur medication to know what it’s like’ what the fuck, he wants to know why nic is addicted!!! Truly shows he cares about him  - what I hate though is that he FINALLY accepts he can’t mourn someone who’s alive so he moves on but is held back but Nic ods, this poor man.  I feel like I could write a deep analytical essay on each of these characters. I love this film so much.
