Gretel & Hansel

Okay so I actually loved this so much?? I can understand why people don't, but I don't get the hate it gets either. It was absolutely stunning, and ai found it captivating! The only things for me keeping it from a 5 were Hansels acting (which-- its fine he's very small but it took me out of the story a bit) and narration at the end being a little much. This was so dark, so haunting, and so beautiful, and I loved every moment of the journey it took me on. The witch was also creepy as hell. Was I super scared? No. But it was Thoroughly spooky in a way that gory movies often just don't capture
