The Lighthouse

i hate to be so letterboxd but a24 and it’s consistency of well written movies blows my mind every time. with a movie that only had 2 characters it feels so fleshed out. the simplicity of the lack of characters, color, locations, but still having such an in-depth story. the 2 characters that we had and their interactions and how they changed, grew, and broke throughout the movie was truly a story you get so very rarely. watching someone loose grasp of their morals and loosing themselves to substance, even breaking their own morals for so is really moving and quite personal. overall the movie started continued and ended well with a slight question. loved it all around
