Parasite
“It all gets ironed out. Money is an iron. Those creases all get smoothed out by money.“
Absolute perfection, “Parasite” is one of those films that I watched when it was released and have never been able to forget, much less the message it conveys. From one perspective, all parasites depend on each other, whether rich or poor, yet even being separated by lines. The rich depend on the poor to maintain order and comfort, while the poor depend on the wealth of the rich family to sustain their lives amid poverty. In a social environment full of social classes and social inequality, no one is free. We are all parasites.
