The Brutalist
“It's not the journey, it's the destination”
The cinematography of the film was incredible, every scene is impressive. The way they tried to apply details that were normally used in old films was magnificent, and one thing that caught my attention, is that they mentioned Bauhaus with the entire film having this modernist architectural base, that leads one to think that they didn't just focus on the architecture but also on the time which “The Brutalist” takes place. Honestly speaking, I don't regret at all having spent 3 hours watching this film, but I have to make a negative criticism about the ending, because I think the epilogue was poorly developed, the entire film had a long story but right at the end they skipped years and made a speech and then it ended, it could have been better but above all I appreciate this film and I feel that it really shows some deep plot.
