9th grade biology class changed my world when i watched this for an assignment. i absolutely love the whole entire theme and concept of this movie oh my goodness. this made me love uma thurman and ethan hawke so much more. this movie is genuinely so deep like i seriously cried at the end. vincent did everything he could to achieve his dream and jerome helped him the whole way through. i kind of excepted what jerome’s trip was at the end but he literally deserved so much more and its so sad. i love how this movie is kind of dystopian in a way and how society views “in-valids” and how vincent and irene challenge that. i love love LOVEEEEE uma thurman in this movie and i think it was one of her best looks. this will always be one of my favorite films 💔
