RTF Rogue Screening Fall 2025: I think this is a sincere representation of male friendships, and it truly makes me draw parallels in what I’ve experienced in my own relationships or have seen around campus.  I think Eric’s performance is one of the strongest I’ve seen from a student/short film. Eric challenges what a masculine “hero” is and what sincerity and vulnerability could mean in a dynamic like this. The end scene in the hot tub encapsulates all the uncertainty of the situation and concern for Jaime; I truly and honestly think this is what true masculinity looks like. Easily my favorite film I saw today at the screenings.
