wow. i’ve never felt this tense during a movie. absolutely incredible. i am in awe of Ray Mendoza and his courage to share his story and relive this intense day. casting mostly boys from teen rom coms was a smart choice on the casting team because it emphasized the youth of the people that were in this war. i was locked in from start to finish.
