The Brutalist

First thoughts:This was a generational movie. A true sight into the lives and struggles of many. This will sit with me for a long time. More in Depth:There’s so much to unpack in this movie, from its exploration of the 'American Dream' to the way an artist’s vision is exploited for capitalism. The sound design alone is phenomenal—rich in detail and utterly captivating. Despite its long runtime, I was completely entranced from start to finish. That said, the epilogue felt unnecessary; the film would have been stronger ending after Act 2. Overall, it’s a stunning piece of cinema.
