While I’m 60% sure I have seen Parenthood before, it was during a time in my life that is... “Nebulous,” so I had to give an official watch.
It really is a comedy classic, and in the prime time of movie making where we have the ultimate combination of go-to 80’s actors in their typecast roles:
Steve martin obviously, mr. Ne’er do well himself. Rick moranis being obsessive, Diane weest - the struggling mom , joaquin phoenix as a troublemaking kid, keanu reeves as the lovable but dumb boyfriend, & martha plimpton tryna just live her life but people always getting in the way. If they’d have thrown in robert downey jr as uncle Larry I’d have had an aneurysm.
