Inferno
I had to make a review because this movie is SO. FUCKING. BEAUTIFUL.
Yeah it gets a little cheesy at times but so what? The atmosphere creeped me out to an entirely different level and the lack of a traditional narrative added to the suspense. I am very appreciative of the editing as well; it's a little hard for me to explain but in my opinion, the pacing was rapid/slow at exactly the right moments. It allowed room for surprises but also allowed room to establish every scene and let the viewer take in the complex environment. Which was an interior design and architectural dream, by the way.
I'm a fan of horror films so this was also probably the reason I loved it so much. The killings were creative and all the characters weirded me the fuck out in the same vein as Rosemary's Baby.
Anyways, this will definitely be one of those movies I watch again and again. Giallo forever!
