I remember being blown away sitting in high school watching this film and thinking how brilliant of a movie this is and how it's ahead of its time. When I got home from school I immediately tried finding it on streaming just to rewatch certain scenes. I even jumped started on the paper regarding the movie too. To this day it's my favorite film of all time. To this day I laugh about how everyone in the class fell asleep including the teacher because it was a movie from 1939 (black and white and had that white noise filter with the sound). To this day it has made me appreciate film making on a level like no other. Everyday I'm so grateful for taking that class in high school. Cause I don't know if I ever would've watched this film ever.
