The Double

Have binged watched 3 of Jesse Eisenber movies and just thought: is he the one writing the lines? He doesn't act, he doesn't read and tell the lines, he shows them. He is so natural that you could forget it's an act. About the movie: - Cinematography The director and the whole crew really put all their heart in this project. From choosing the cast to colors and fogs. And lets not pretend the shots were not as if Dostoevsky was the director of the movie😆 - Story I mean. It's Dostoevsky. At the end of the day we can all name at least 10 movies that are made or motivated just by the book "The Double" by Friedrich. Rear Window and Fight Club pop up in my head instantly. - Philosophy Its got the whole existential pallete and it has as much emotional edge as the book(dont blame me for liking the movie more)
