Greatest movie ever made. So many layers. Feels so real. Each character’s limited perspective pulls the information together and makes you feel like you gotta solve the case with them. Even when I know what’s coming the tension it builds is ridiculous. Every scene hits harder the second time and each detail that I may not have noticed before is strongly enhanced now upon rewatch. The acting is so well done and it is directed so well everyone feels so real and human. Every decision by every character is justified and understood by recognizing their complex situations and circumstances. Even when a decision is terrible it’s still understandable. The climate during the film is also perfect, dark, gloomy, snowy, rainy weather to fit the story. Hopelessness is reiterated via weather. Truly insane. And the use of red herrings !!! Cannot forget Masterpiece.

Literally miserable

Very predictable, trying too hard to be comedic, pretty ass overall. Frank probably makes up for a whole star of my rating.
