Perfect Blue

I can definitely see the parts of the movie that were used by Darren Aronofsky as an inspiration for both Black Swan, and Requiem for a Dream, especially the former. Nonetheless i’m on the fence with this one, overall it was a good film, hooked you in midway with questioning the veridity of the events that happened and were happening. But i still enjoyed Darren’s Black Swan way more, leaving a deeper impact throughout its run, even though it was created almost as an adaptation of this one. Also the style of being an animation does take away a bit, at least for me, of the impact you see on screen.
